During the three days of the Fête du Rail 2023 (12, 13 and 15 August 2023), you can reach the Chemin de Fer du Bocq by SNCB train via platform 5 at Ciney station (SNCB).

• Front of  Spontin station, the Musée du Transport Urbain Bruxellois (MTUB – https://trammuseum.brussels/) is offering sightseeing tours with photo stops (free for those with a valid Fête du Rail ticket) in an “ancestor” bus. Every day,
  • departure: 11.10 h – route to Purnode – Duration +/- 45 minutes.
  • departure: 13.10 h – route to Crupet – Duration +/- 45 minutes.
  • departure: 15.10 h – circuit towards Braibant – Duration +/- 45 minutes.
• At the castle (opposite the station): fire truck from the Namur Province Fire School, military camp, castle tours and snacks (desserts).

Dorinne-Durnal : Military camp (access via the train station)

Purnode : Discover one of the most beautiful viewpoints on Line 128 (access via the train station).

• Buying your tickets online is highly recommended to limit queues and to save you money (buying tickets online (including fees) is always cheaper than buying them on site (when possible).
• The 3-day ticket is only available on our website
• Payment via this site or on the spot at the Spontin reception point by credit card or in cash.
• Access by car in Spontin, free parking.
• Access by public transport via Ciney, connection between IC Namur <–> Luxembourg trains and Chemin de Fer du Bocq trains (track 5).
