Le Chemin de Fer du Bocq is one of the flagship projects of the ASBL Patrimoine Ferroviaire et Tourisme – Toerisme en Spoor Patrimonium (PFT-TSP), founded in 1988. The association has been working for over 35 years to preserve, promote and pass on Belgium’s railway heritage.
The activities of the PFT-TSP
As well as operating the magnificent Bocq line as a tourist attraction, our not-for-profit association is developing a number of complementary activities :
🚂 Museum reserve
We conserve and restore a large stock of historic equipment :
- 5 steam locomotives (some undergoing restoration)
- 27 diesel locomotives
- 8 electric locomotives
- 17 cars, railcars, wagons and service vehicles
- A large collection of installations, railway artefacts and period tools
🧩 Modelling sector
An activity for model train enthusiasts, a faithful reflection of the real railway world.
📚 Documentation sector
We publish the benchmark magazine for Belgian railways : “En Ligne” – “Op de Baan”, as well as a number of specialist works on the history of railways in Belgium, both in terms of infrastructure and rolling stock.

🚆 Travel sector
We regularly organise rail trips on the Belgian network, using both historic and modern rolling stock. You can buy your tickets here
A collective adventure
Our ASBL relies on the energy and commitment of more than 100 volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds. Each of them contributes their skills, passion and time to a common project : reviving and sharing the history of the railways. You too can join us !
